About
sastudio is an award-winning architecture practice based in Porto, working internationally across architecture, public space and urban strategies.
We design places for collective life — from educational, civic, housing and healthcare projects to public spaces and larger urban developments. Across scales and programmes, we explore how the built environment can foster meaningful relationships between people and their surroundings, contributing to better everyday lives.
Each project begins by understanding its particular circumstances, grounded in human scale and environmental responsibility, we seek clear and purposeful responses that can create lasting value.
Our approach is collaborative and exploratory, bringing together clients, users and external experts.
Through research, analysis and experimentation, we test different possibilities and translate them into spatial strategies, experiences and built environments.
We add value by grounding every project in its wider context, ensuring that design decisions support long‑term social, environmental and economic goals — shaping holistic, sustainable places and communities for a resilient future.
